On CNN, Carol Lin just gave Bush advice on how he could "beef up his ratings" as she watched his helicopter land on the U.S.S. Iwo Jima:

Carol: "He may even run across some people who are still living in New Orleans, Fred [Fredricka Whitfield],and hopefully hear some of their stories."

Fredricka: "Yeah, it would be nice if he gets a chance to converse with some of those folks..."

Carol: Well, with his approval rating hovering at about 40%, um, my recommendation is that the President get involved in a rescue operation. I think that's a Photo-Op that the White House..."

Fredricka (interrupting): "this trip in part..."

Carol (interrupting the interruption by yelling): Could USE!"

Carol, please just report the news, and leave the political public relations ploys to Karl Rove.
