Comment: Spend 2008 with your favorite giant robots in all their big-screen, live-action glory. Note that this calendar features the CGI characters from the 2007 major motion picture directed by Michael Bay; not the pen-&-ink versions from the beloved 1980's cartoon show.
The label, "sixteen-month calendar," is somewhat misleading because it means only that the first page is crammed with four months' worth of dates for September through December of 2007. The REAL fun begins in January of 2008, with a full body shot of Bumblebee in robot mode against a flashy yellow and black background. Next comes a similarly styled image of Barricade for February; then the legendary Optimus Prime graces the March display; and that's followed by Blackout; Jazz; Frenzy; Ratchet; Megatron; Ironhide; Starscream; a second pose of Optimus; and finally, a second pose of the sinister Decepticon leader, Magatron, in December. All of the `bots are shown fully transformed; no one is in his vehicular disguise.
The actual calendar portion of each month's spread takes up only about three quarters of the bottom page, so the blocks are pretty small. Still, the date numbers are black against a white background, so they're easy to read--but not from across the room.
