Summary: Not what I expected
Comment: If images of Frazetta's work is what you want, this is NOT the book for you. All this book tells you is a list of the many works Frazetta has done. Very few images. I was disappointed.

Summary: It's basically a price guide....
Comment: Much like the other reviews stated, it's basically a price guide without the prices. I think everyone was expecting another book of collections. I know I was. There are a few pieces of Frank's art in it that I haven't seen previously, but it definitely doesn't make the book worth owning. If you want a catalog of all of the work Frank has done, then it's exactly what you're looking for. Otherwise, don't bother. I just wish the book was marketed more accurately. So the 2 star rating is for the marketing inaccuracy. As a list of Frazetta's work I guess it you would give it a good rating.

Summary: Not the book that I was expecting
Comment: Just like Adrien and Matthew I was expecting something totally different. I bought it as a pre-order book and there were obviously no reviews yet. Amazon delayed the shipping for about 2 months and when I finally get it what do I receive? A guide??? Is that it?

Where are the wonderfull full pages with Frazetta's amazing artwork? There's just pages and more pages with guide reference. I'm so disappointed with this product and leave this as a message for those who expecting an art book - RUN AWAY FROM THIS, THIS IS NOT AN ART BOOK!!!

Summary: Not what it's cracked up to be...
Comment: It's a nice 4-color print job, but not nearly enough research went into this. I'm afraid there are numerous typos and some layout boo-boos. It's tough to follow, and there are inconsistencies in the nesting/hierarchy of the listed items. Many line items are missing. If the author would have consulted Milton Courter, who sort of paved the way for this project. Photo selection is random and haphazardly placed in juxtaposition to the items it refers to. Not a killer of a problem here; I keep a comprehensive catalog of Frazetta's work in a spreadsheet, and seeing the last two projects fall so short of being accurate, makes me want to publish mine. At least, a collaboration needs to happen with the diehard geeks -- perhaps the author would take input from other like-minded fans? I don't care if he gets the credit -- just offer some input from some of us out here who could really make this a great catalog... a lot of work done here. Happy to own a copy, but sorry the interiors (content and layout) were a little weak...
