Customer Rating: Summary: Doodles for Dinner Review Comment: My daughter, who has a interest in drawing, absolutely loves Doodles for Dinner. She instantly found a pencil and began following the easy instructions. She is 7 and needs to practice a bit for perfection, but the final product of her drawings were quite good. She was amazed how easy it is to draw these pictures. Awesome product!!
Customer Rating: Summary: Not basic enough for 4-year-olds Comment: I agree that this is probably beyond most 4-year-olds' capabilities. I just received it for my son and I'm hoping maybe it will entertain him to watch me do it while we're waiting for dinner at a restaurant. I was a little disappointed to see the book filled almost solely with animals with only a couple exceptions. Not what I expected, but perhaps it would hold the interest of a budding artist who's a little older.
Customer Rating: Summary: great to take to restaurants Comment: A very fun thing to keep little ones busy at a restaurant or while mom is cooking. I think it is a little advanced for the younger ages recommended, but it probably depends on each child's ability as well.
