Summary: Awesome with Alternate Version of "Picture Perfect"
Comment: We were at the Fairfax, VA concert and got to be in the audience during filming. It was great. They did "Picture Perfect" twice, once from the CD and once a FAR FAR better version with less edgy guitar and more "bounce" to it. You have to hear it to know what I'm talking about, but when I made a cd to have in my car, I took the version off the Video instead of the one on the CD because it's so much better!

Summary: This video never gets old!
Comment: This video is Smitty at the height of his pop career. It's amazing how he's always at the right place at the right time (on stage) and looks so cool doing it. This is absolutely the best video he's EVER done. I long for the day when this video will be re-released on DVD.

Summary: An Evening With Michael W.
Comment: I have heard about this video but was told by some Christian bookstores that it was no longer available to order or purchase. What a surprise when I was looking for something on Amazon.com and happened to come across copies of this video available for purchase! This video contains recordings of different sets to a concert Smitty did in 1993 in Fairfax, Virginia. On the video in between the sets, we see at home and recording studio interviews with Smitty and his band. The viewer also gets to meet Smitty's wife, Deb, and his kids. Great insight to Michael W. Smith.
Even though Michael W. Smith is tops in my Christian music favorites, I had to give this video less than 5 stars. This concert was held back when Smitty was going through a more pop/rock sound. The band music at times was too loud and seemed to overpower Smitty's singing and his message of the song. At least on my video, which is hooked up to my stereo, it caused a grainy audio at times when the band was the loudest.
I personally found the times when Smitty was at his piano or keyboards singing that there was a connection between him and the audience, along with a spiritual connection coming through. This spiritual connection that is palpable in the Michael W. Smith of today is what I find inner peace and being on the same page spiritually with God. The pop/rock aura, with the loud band music and the prancing and bouncing around, I found to be more of a chaotic nature than a reflective spiritual one that I have come to connect with Michael W. Smith.
If the reader of this is a Michael W. Smith fan, I will say to try this video! There are very few Michael W. Smith videos and this will only enhance your Michael W. Smith library, as well as your video library. It will be an excellent video to have along side of Michael W's forthcoming "Worship" video that compliments his best selling cd of the same name.

Summary: Great video!
Comment: I used to have the video a loooong time ago, and I absolutely loved it. I took it to school with me for my class to watch on rainy days when recess was inside, and alllll my classmates (girl classmates, that is) fell in love with it as well. Every single day we watched the Change Your World video..and it was so much fun. Then just a couple of years later it broke because I watched it so much...I'm now 15 and want it for my birthday...!!!It's great, and h-i-g-h-l-y recommended. Last November I went to Michael W. Smith's concert in Shreveport and it was sooooo awesome. You haven't heard "This is Your Time" until you've heard it live right beside the speaker. No kidding. If you ever get a chance to go to a concert, GO!
