Customer Rating: Summary: Inside the mind of an independent woman Comment: I have LOVED this movie since I first saw it back in '93. I have worn out my VHS tape of it and have desperately wanted to see it released on DVD. What gives? I'd like to see a great American release of this film, preferably with some special features about the inspiration for the film and the obvious low-budget (which makes it seem so much more realistic) filming of it. Comment: I saw this film in the theatre back in '93 or so, and walked out of the darkness thinking that Judd had a great career ahead of her. Now over ten years later, it seems that R-in-P is destined to be her best film ever. I'd buy this movie in a heartbeat were it available on DVD. What's the problem? No distributor? I would watch this movie periodically to help me feel at peace with myself and my place in this world. Ashley Judd is very good and I am always hopeful she'll someday give a comparable performance in another film. Thank you Victor Nunez for this memorable film.
