Customer Rating: Summary: One enchanted evening! Comment: This DVD was a nostalgic reminder of the time I saw the actual show in Rome
What a trio and what a loss now without Pvarotti
Customer Rating: Summary: DO NOT WAIT !!!! Comment: I have been waiting for a long time to replace my VHS with a DVD hoping the price would come down a little more. What a mistake! The DVD is crisp, sharp, and clear. The sound is fantastic, even God must have felt a little humble that night in 1990 at Caracalla. In an age of celebrity for celebrities sake, that much talent on the stage all at one time is breathtaking. Four of the most talented people in the world, what a thrill.
If you are debating this purchase wait no longer, even if you have seen it a hundred times, this DVD will please you over and over.
Customer Rating: Summary: A Real Treasure Comment: A treasure to have and be able to view any time you desire. The three tenors in concert is truly a gift that could never be repeated. Our family will treasure it.
Customer Rating: Summary: Thank God for recording equipment! Comment: How many people in the World get to hear the best voice of the generation? How about all 3 of them? I have been a fan of the opera for a long time. So , for me this was a must. But even if you are not into this tipe of music, get this DVD and you will be. You get to see and hear three absolute masters of their art do what they love best: sing their harts out. Any one of them can fill any venue sevral times over. Here, you got all three.
Doesn't get much better then this.
Customer Rating: Summary: A new dawn in music Comment: Historical concert and, in a sense, the begining of a new era in operatic music. Also an opportunity to take high level singing to otherwise ignorant (in the goos snse of course) people that never had the opportunity to listen to Good Music.
