Pushing the musical envelope with each successive album, the young Alejandro Fernandez went for broke on this fusion of pop balladry and trad rancheras. In a smart move, he picked veteran studio wiz Emilio Estefan Jr. to come up with a winning recipe--great material and excellent musicianship to back up a topflight singer. Gloria Estefan teams up with Fernandez in the duet "En el Jardin," a touching tune about finding true love. But it's on the inspirational song "Yo Naci para Amarte" that Fernandez's velvety baritone fuses passion with power as he sings of coming to terms with destiny. On the same level is "No Se Olvidar," in which he conveys the fear of solitude that coexists with the drive of personal conviction. Both songs radiate with a potent mix of emotion, from angry yells to desperate pleadings. --Ramiro Burr

Summary: I officially have a headache.....
Comment: I ordered Alejandro Fernandez's Album after listening to him sings "Hay Más" with Mario Frangoulis. In his defense, Alejandro sounded good and showed some potential.
It's not that I regret paying for this album; I'll gladly put this mistake behind me and very happily not listen to it again. However, I think the guy deserves another chance; I hope in the future he can discover words and music put together by some divine artists, or else he will end up as a male model soon.
I feel generous today; I'm giving the album one star for the cover which features nice poses, of a well muscled Alejandro, an extra star for the nice picture with the expensive shirt and tie.

Summary: Very Romantic, Very Sexxxxyyy!
Comment: Alex has the most sensuous voice I've ever heard in a male artist. Smooth, deep, rich. The lyrics are just breathtaking as well - tastefully intimate which is highly appreciated.
This album contains a beautiful duet with Gloria Estefan.

Comment: Truely one of the most romantic singers around in our universe presently. With so much charm and charisma. This CD is like no other. Quite stunning!..... Beautiful orchestrations, melodic tunes and that most wonderful beautiful voice rendering all the emotions of love! One can feel the pleasures, the pain, the whole gammat of lives experiences in this one. Really a great CD. Would be nice if he were to release another of the same format.
