Comment: These headphones are FANTASTIC! Purchased these after reading reviews on CNET saying how amazing these were. Can't believe they only cost $34.99, sound better than many $100+ sets. Love the quirky 80s styling too, and very comfortable to wear.

Comment: This headset is the best I've ever owned! I even did a comparison with a friend's Bose, and we NEARLY agreed mine was better...with as much $$$ as HIS Bose cost, I don't blame him for stalling before finally agreeing!! ;) I've used my set nearly everyday, hooked into my laptop as I run on my treadmill. The sound is great and it actually stays put, instead of sliding off my head as I'm running. I read some review (maybe CNet?) that mentioned the slighting adjustment pulling hair, but I've yet to experience that at all. This Koss PortaPro is THE ONE, folks - I swear!

Comment: The sound quality is excellent on these! I'm playing songs on my iPod with these on and I'm hearing instruments I never even knew were there. So much for Apple's headphones! They are very comfortable and despite what other reviews have said, I haven't gotten strange looks or comments because of their unique design.
Overall, great headphones at a ridiculously good price.

Summary: Upgraded from Apple Earphones to PortaPros
Comment: Listening to my iPod almost a year with Apple Earphones, I realized that the sound quality from them was not what I desired. After browsing many forums and searching for a reasonably priced pair of headphones, I discovered the Koss PortaPros. I'll start by reviewing what came in the package: The headphones itself, a bag-like carrying case, and the .25" adapter. The carrying case was not what I had expected, it seems very durable yet I am not quite sure of how to fold the headphones into the case for I've tried many different ways and it doesn't seem to fit. The adapter is very useful and I am glad Koss decided to include it as well. The headphones of course are amazing compared to the cheap earbuds I had before. Not only is the sound quality is great, but the overall design is good as well. The comfortZone feature is an added design that provides extreme comfort to the headphones. Also, the length of the cord is not too short or too long. The over band is quite durable, and yes, it does snag your hair every now and then, but that is easy to ignore with such cans as these. Oh, and don't forget the Lifetime Warranty. These PortaPros are competitors against much higher priced headphones, so if you're looking for an upgrade in a mid level price range, I definitely recommend Koss PortaPros. I forgot to mention, I used the Super Saver Shipping and the order arrived 3 days prior to the estimated shipping date.

Summary: PortaPros Pack a Punch
Comment: These are awesome headphones. I work in a crowded (load) office, and there are days that would be almost unbearable without these headphones. I am able to crank up the volume, and the sound quality is excelent. The bass produced from such a small package is remarkable.
I did have to replace one set of the cushions after a few years, and eventualy one of the speaker wires started to short out. Koss stood behind their lifetime warrenty, and replaced the unit.
The first pair of headphones I bought (in the '80s) were from Koss, and my experiences with their lifetime warrenty has made me a lifetime customer.
