I did make a mistake & bought the tool without a case so now I have all these components to keep track of so, buy the case.
You get only a few screws so you'll run through them pretty darn fast if you are doing much. In a pinch I found more at the local Lowes.

The plastic is light and functional. The clamp is sufficient. I use other clamping methods to fit the need and use. First time user, I practiced using it, adjusting the depth collar and hole alignment to get it down just right.
