The 2000 release Time After Time is a collection of 12 previously unreleased Eva Cassidy performances, primarily studio recordings, Time After Time also includes four live tracks. This album continues the tradition set by previous Eva Cassidy releases, a mix of traditional favorites such as 'I Wandered by a Brookside' and more contemporary songs like the title track, a remake of the 1984 Cyndi Lauper hit. Blix label.

Customer Rating: Summary: Very Sweet Comment: I have always listened attentively whenever a selection by this very talented musican came over the radio; however, it wasn't until I heard Cassidy's redition of Paul Simon's "Kathy's Song" on a folk music station that I finally bought a the CD that included that song. Cassidy's interpretation of a wide range of genres on this CD---from Irish folk ballad to pop to blues---is truly phenomenal and her delivery of all of them is as smooth as silk. That cancer took her young life is truly tragic, but her memory and angelic voice lives on in these beautiful songs.
Customer Rating: Summary: Relax and enjoy. Comment: Wonderful renditions of so many familiar songs. Eva gives them each her special treatment. She has left us but we have the gift of her voice to enjoy. I wish that I had seen her perform. This is a great CD to listen to undisturbed or to have as background music as you relax with friends.
Customer Rating: Summary: GREAT MUSIC Comment: I saw a review of this album on CBS Sunday Morning and bought it the naxt week. My wife and I love her voice.
Customer Rating: Summary: A dedication Comment: This isn't a review of this CD, rather a dedication to Eva Cassidy, accentuating what she means to me, and, perhaps, to others as well. I wrote this for her:
Aching Voices, Clear
When the winds turn to us, and sing
In places held so close and dear, softly
Heard, like melting snows in New Spring
Those aching voices, clear...
Her song comes to us then, in pensive
Quiet joy
Her soul sails with us, and
We go on
She goes with us
She goes on...
Customer Rating: Summary: Eva Cassidy Lovers Comment: You won't disappointed if you enjoy the music of the late Eva Cassidy. It is warming, soothing music made famous by other artists. Overall, she does a great job. I was only disappointed with Joni Mitchell's Woodstock, actually made popular by Crosby, Stills, Nash, and Young. I think that Eva sings it a little too slowly. Otherwise, the cd is a recommended purchase.
