Comment: A few things to note here:
- This DVD presents both the uncut English-dub and the uncut Japanese versions. Consequently, the action shown is more violent and bloody than in the DVDs which are cut English-dubs. Just FYI for the parents.
- This DVD has English subtitles available for both versions, which is a great help if you are hearing-impaired.
- The English voice actors here are in some cases different than those featured in the previous cut English-dubs. For some characters, the difference is subtle, but a delicate ear will pick up the difference. My enjoyment wasn't lessened, but be aware so it doesn't take you by surprise.
Eleventh Hour highlights an interesting and apparent contrast between the two Saiyans, Goku and Vegeta. Whereas Vegeta later in the Cell saga gambles all to allow his opponents the time to reach their full power because he wishes to test himself in battle, Goku claims that he allows Frieza time to power up in order to make it clear to the evil one that he truly has been defeated. Goku claims that he has allowed this risky venture on the hopes that this will prevent Frieza from ever trying again. However, Goku has just seen, only hours ago, how the defeated Ginyu force did not give up, even after being massively over-powered - therefore, he knows that this may be a fool's errand. Vegeta is certain - he declares that Goku's Saiyan blood drives him to battle the strongest opponents, regardless of the risks to others. Is Vegeta right, and Goku is cut of the same selfish cloth? Or is Goku sincere, and his kind nature prevents him from understanding Frieza's true nature? We are left to wonder - in DBZ, there are no easy answers.

Summary: The Beginning of the End for Namek
Comment: This is a great DVD. It contains 4 episodes of action between Frieza and newly transformed Super Saiyan Goku. The menus are the same as the rest of the Frieza Saga and there aren't really any cool extras.

Summary: "Buy the Uncut if you want to see it all!"
Comment: Although on the back of this video it says "Contains some violence and brief nudity," there is no nudity in these episodes. The best part was when SS Goku hits Frieza in the gut and he coughs up a truckload of blood, that was so cool. I also liked the music that played while Frieza was powering up to maximum strength. He, however, still couldn't really mach Goku's power because after Frieza hurtles him into a bunch of molten lava, Goku comes bouncing back. During the time when Goku was in the lava, it was cool when Gohan started beating Frieza up (he did the same thing when Frieza stabbed Krillin with his horns). It was also funny when Dr. Briefs, Yajirobe, Chi-Chi, and Master Roshi were all stacked up on each other trying to keep the graphic communicator stable while they were talking to Gohan. I've seen the episodes after these, too, Goku kicks Frieza's @$$! Buy this movie, it's one to remember!
