Sporting a Botticelli-inspired image of the platinum-selling soprano on the cover, Classics is a classy anthology including highlights from three of Brightman's chart-topping releases along with seven new tracks. Songs personally selected by the diva as her favorite classical interpretations are culled from her previous blockbusters: Time To Say Goodbye, Eden, and La Luna. And whether you're a fan already in the fold or one in the making, the new material here shows the diva at the top of her form, in new renderings of "O Mio Babbino Caro" and "Nessun Dorma" (accompanied by the Royal Philharmonic)--fascinating displays of the operatic confidence she's developed over her career. Summary: Awful, dreadful CD of arias, badly sung
Comment: An absolutely dreadful CD, with one decent rendition (Ave Maria); the rest -- pure awfulness.
It's like listening to Susan Alexander Kane (Citizen Kane's second wife) sing a whole album. Brightman's voice wavers & quivers all over the high notes. Oh, it is SO bad.

Comment: Is there a better singer in the world? I don't think so, but in any case, this new album from the now very svelte and very georgeous Sarah Brightman is superb. The power, the control, the clarity is all there. This experienced vocalist is the definition of a world class diva. The proof of it all is the fact that her fans, of which I am one, could listen to her for days on end without getting tired of her lovely voice. This album has it all. Get it, and enjoy!

Summary: THE BEST!
Comment: This is the best classic album I have ever heard. You can have Sarah's music playing over and over again all day long. Her voice is divine, the music soft and not overpowering. It doesn't have loud parts like many other classical music albums where you find yourself constantly adjusting the volume.
Great album to have playing in a nice shop that will entice shoppers to take their time browsing, and no doubt make a purchase.
