Customer Rating: Summary: dumb fun Comment: This is a dumb movie thats fun for what it is. And it aged much better than most other movies of that era. Eastwood plays a blue-collar weekend fighter who owns an "ape" (I know its not an ape) and chases after a Sandra Locke. The movie is a showcase for a whole bunch of character actors as well.
The blu-ray transfer looks much better than the DVD which is a comment on how bad the DVD was in terms of video quality. The blu-ray transfer of the film was done on a budget. Its ok. But nothing special.
This is no great film. Its throwaway entertainment compentently done. Enjoy it for what it is.
