Customer Rating: Summary: comfortable but buyer beware Comment: I got 2 of these chairs and everyone loves them BUT they don't last and they can be dangerous. The cords that hold the fabric to the frame rot quickly and give out unexpectedly. There have been some injuries due to this. They also rust fairly fast if used outdoors and exposed to rain. Water gets inside the frame and it rusts from inside.
Too bag they aren't made better, they are comfortable, but rather awkward to get into them. Customer Rating: Summary: Great chair--but a bit hard to get into :-) Comment: I bought one of these several years ago and I use it for about six months each year. It's a great chair--very comfortable. And as it is mesh fabric, it is well ventilated and drains water off well. The only thing that is less than ideal--not awful, but awkward---is that it's a bit difficult to get into...the footpiece is kind of in the way...tends to make you "fall" into it, which isn't good for it..especially if you are hefty, like I am. Customer Rating: Summary: Worth every cent, but don't leave it outside. Comment: What's the use of having a deck and a sunny day if you can't sit down on a comfortable chair? What do you get out of cheap plastic patio furniture besides a desire to get up and walk around?
My wife bought me one of these, and it's the best thing to happen to Summer for me since the Beach Boys. How much do decks and patios cost? Thousands! So, why not get yourself a nice chair to sit outside and enjoy that real estate?
Learning to fold it quicly was a little tricky for me, but practice makes pefect. Also, I take it outside when I want to use it and I bring it inside when the day is over. I would not recommend leaving this chair outside to be exposed to the elements for days or months at a time. Customer Rating: Summary: JUST WHAT THE DOCTOR ORDERED ! ( but shop around for clones ) Comment: Cardiologists recommend that as often as feasible, your legs should recline above heart level. Here is the first design that Reviewer mcHAIKU has found, measuring up to "the doctor's orders".
These recliners DO give ultra comfort, are sturdy & rust-resistant. Since Spring 2006 this style has been available for one-third the fancy French price . . . SO, the shopper in me strongly suggests you search for clones at TARGET via *amazon.com* or a drug store. To provide more comfy, form-fitting neck support, shop *amazon.com* for a portable U-shaped neck pillow ~ ~ read mcHAIKU's 3-22-06 review of a favorite (ASIN: B000B4VWLO) in lavender!
This TEN-STAR combination adds up to an Rx for easy sleep-overs, indoors or out: HAPPY HEALTHY HEART WEEK ~ ~ EVERY WEEK!
Customer Rating: Summary: Owned for 4 years Comment: I bought this off Amazon 4 years ago and while it is very comfortable it does not stand the test of time...within the first year it started to rust and the cording is very stretched out. I've had better luck with a cheaper knockoff I bought at BJ's.
