Patio grills, ladders, trailers--some things are difficult to lock up for security. This lock features a braided steel cable that flexes through ladder rungs, propane tank handles, grill legs, trailer hitches, and chain-link fencing to lock up just about any odd-shape item large or small. The lock's patented, adjustable locking head clamps down at any point on the cable from 1 to 6 feet to keep a tight rein on valuables. Re-keyable cylinders offer keyed-alike convenience. Summary: Great Lock. Tons of applications
Comment: This lock has done a great job so far. I've used to lock my kayaks to the roof of my car, lock my bikes onto my car and have wrapped it around a gun case for extra security. It's been absolutely incredible, and at the price you can't beat it.
The only minor downside is the tip of the cable. It's either metal or a hard plastic. I worry about it scratching my car, but if you pay close attention to looping it through the rack, it becomes a non-issue.

Comment: We used the lock for a camping trip the last week in June of 08. It served our purpose very well and we were happy with it. I felt it was secure enough for what we were using it for and it's simple to use.

Comment: I bought it to lock my saddle bags and helmet on my motorcycle. Does the job easily and well. While it would not stop a determined thief with serious tools, it does seem to offer sufficient protection against casual attempts to walk away with things.

Comment: This small Python lock is great for short term lock up for your bike helmet and jacket too. If your not going to be away from your bike long or far away then this is the lock to have. It's fast and extremely easy to use.

Summary: Master Lock Python 6-Foot 3/8" Cable Lock
Comment: This is the 3rd cable lock like this that I own. All of them work just fine and are easy to operate. The first one I bought is 3 years old and still looks new with no corrosion. I use them to secure my game cameras to a tree in the woods so they are in the weather constantly. Some day I may have the cyinders changed so I only have to carry one key. This can be done with this cable lock.
