Summary: Wonderful photography and well written articles
Comment: I believe that the Columbus Monthly magazine is a fine publication. I am not a 'high-falutin' socialite and I still love the magazine. I've been receiving it for 5 years now and plan to renew. I also send a subscription to my mother in Cleveland. (She sometimes learns more about Columbus than I do!)
Good human interest articles about folks in Columbus and well informed articles and presentations of city changes, construction plans, and local artists. I also appreciate the pages that list the theatre/concert/festival/museum/etc. events.
The photo quality is outstanding with vivid colors.
This is an A1 magazine.

Summary: Should be called "New Albany Monthly"
Comment: This magazine is everything you ever wanted to know about New Albany..... Also, it's a good magazine for social climbers. Furthermore, if you are considering a facelift, liposuction, or breast implants, this magazine may serve as your directory. This mag is completely out of touch with what really goes on in this city and does not discuss anything of relevance that is not in one of it's select target demographic areas. Columbus Monthly portrays a picture of Columbus that is barely one dimensional. They offer no broad impression of what the people of Columbus do, say or believe. The "Best of Columbus" edition is comical..... it's obvious by some of the "categories" that the recognition is for sale.
