Summary: It WAS good...
Comment: I frequently thumbed through this magazine and purchased a few issues here and there. Quite recently I found myself making more and more purchases, until I started concidering subscribing...until the most recent issue that is.

It appears they've decided to change the content and feel of the magazine. Originally, the magaine had brief but informative articles, a large number of workouts, with great detailed photos to demonstrate the workout, and the magazine was filled with motivational photographs. These aspects made this magazine stand out, and made it a better buy than Men's Health which is full of long, drawn out, rehashed articles on sex, food, and clothes. Which brings us to where the magazine is going now. Instead of to the point articles and imagery, they're printing long winded articles, and reduced the images to a minimum (size and number). The images now are of scrawnier guys with no motivating elments to them what-so-ever.

Sure, I know some felt the original layout may have been somewhat geared toward a homosexual crowd (numerous images of muscular men in small swimsuits), but for those of us who aren't homophobic, and want a to the point magazine that will motivate, it was great. And now, it appears to be just mimicking the bland, every-issue-is-the-same-as-the-last layout of Men's Health. How unfortunate.
