Any woodworker worth any sawdust at all knows you can never have too many clamps. We’ve said it ourselves a hundred times. You especially can’t have too many Quick Grips. We love these clamps particularly because they require just one hand to secure; in the past, with other clamps, you needed a helper to hang onto the little wood blocks you used to keep from marring your workpiece surface while you adjusted the clamp. Customer Rating: Summary: Restoration Comment: I have used these clamps for a few years on picture frame restoration. The small clamps are wonderful for holding small areas while glue is drying. The only negative is the yellow pads tend to fall off as the tool ages. We have stuck picture frame bumpers on them and that seems to work fine if the pads are lost.
