This is the best alert weather radio I have ever had. It is easy to set up. The reception is great with the built in antenna and I live way out in the country where we don't even have cable television on broad band. The AM-FM radio is fair but I bought this for its' capability as an alert weather radio. It works and I am totally satisfied.

Comment: After reviewing all of the weather alert radios on Amazon.com I chose the WR300 because of the many good reviews posted there. This product was shipped to me in less than one week. It was very simple to set up and has worked beautifully. Hurricane Fay was approaching and all pertinent information was broadcast into our house in a timely manner. We have not received any unimportant messages in the thirty days following Fay. It is good to know that our radio is always "listening" for weather that needs our attention. I will gladly give this product five stars.

4-AA backup batteries not included, but recommended!
