Summary: Buy it HERE!
Comment: If you want this magazine, BUY IT HERE! I made the mistake of ordering it when I was at the check-out line at Best Buy. It got me a few free issues and then automatically billed me for the rest of the subscription. What I didn't realize was that it renewed at a six month subscription for $44.95!!! Can you believe that? $90 a year! When I found that out, I immediately canceled and am about to renew it through Amazon. A MUCH better deal.

Summary: OK Mag Lots of Filler
Comment: I like this magazine. It is not bad but I have a big complaint with it. It is and has always been full of filler. I know it is a weekly so they have to put some content in it but it has way too many 'Lists'. They fill an entire magazine with 'The Top 100' this or 'The Top 100' that. And then a legend like Richard Widmark or Dan Fogelberg dies and they give them a tiny picture and a couple of sentences. But since 'Premiere Magazine' stopped publishing it is about all I can get.

Comment: The magazine is a great price. But I could look through it at the store to see if a want to buy it or not. The stores around me did not have it so a got it through the mail, but now they have it so I go to the store to get it.

Summary: Yes, Yes I Know it Costs A Fortune...
Comment: ...but trust me this magazine is so worth every dime for the quantity and quality of information provided. Need to know about family-friendly childrens computer, music and TV? It's in there. Need to know what to DVR a week in advance? It's in there and even sometimes includes time variations to make it easier to find. Not to mention great information on books, games, DVD's--just a mountain of great info that--let's face it--in these times of overload, we need a dependable source. Additional props go out to the great columns--especially Stephen King who I hate as a writer and love as an essayist--and Diablo Cody for having sense enough not to apologize for living her life big time! When I go shopping for entertainment goodies, this magazine, highlighted and with pages dog-eared goes right along with me. Highly recommended.
