Comment: Our old electric grinder was much less substantial, continually disassembled itself and was a nuisance by comparison.

Comment: I am very pleased with the MIU Stainless Steel Battery Operated Electic Salt Mill. My only question is why do they say in the directions it is not made for salt? It appears that they just took the MIU Pepper Mill (which I have) and put it in a salt mill box. As of right now it works so I am pleased (at least until it corrodes from the salt).

Summary: Almost One Year and Still Going
Comment: I bought this after my old battery operated grinder stopped working after several years. I am very happy with this and I entertain a lot. Everyone always "hints" at how much they like it and now I have to buy one for one of my close friend's birthday next month...I guess that's the downside -It will keep costing you money! Too bad they are not cheaper.
