Now with that said I have also bought the new Sony HBH 300 and am largely disappointed in it as it doesn't last long enough between charges and the volume is too low. Now for the Logitech.
I bought this unit before my bluetooth phone even arrived to test it with my wife's phone. This unit has enough volume control to knock your head off if you want. I can't see that you could ask for more control on that front. The battery lasts most all day which is a real plus. Another real plus is that you can have this clipped onto your shirt pocket or purse and when the phone rings, just pick it up and you can easily put it on with one hand. In addition this unit is so comfortable to your ear where the speaker lays up against it. The only reason I didn't give this a 5 star rating is that it does get somewhat uncomfortable if you wear it all day without taking it off because the clamping forks apply pressure to the top and bottom of the ear. This may be something that I'll get used to over time and is not an issue at all if you take it off between calls which is really no problem at all. The only other reason I don't give it a 5 star is that it does not have a car charger and this is something that won't be important to everyone, but is a feature I'd like to have. This unit is worth the money and no one ever knows you are on a hands free with it either.

You can feel a resistance when you try to rotate it more than it was designed for. ALSO the manual mentioned in BOLD LETTERS that forcing above this point it will harm the headset.
What i don't like on this phone is that pressing the multi-function button hurts after a while.
I used the headset for my Sony cellphone as well for my Voice over IP (Skype) and it works really well. Customer Rating: Summary: Poor volume on Sony Erricson phone. I have a Nokia 3650, and it would pair, but it won't connect. It's a shame, as it seems to be comfy. If you have a Nokia, I'd say stay away from this. Customer Rating: Summary: Poor Product Quality Control & Support Comment: The first Logitech Mobile Bluetooth Headset I got was DOA -- the headset would not charge. The replacement unit was defective as well -- annoying electronic tones in the earpiece, unreliable charging, and after a few days the microphone went haywire and started generating a very loud, constant buzzing/static background noise, drowning out the speaker's voice. Logitech support was non-existent. This was to be my wife's "big" Christmas present, but it was nothing but a big disappointment. An important footnote: Amazon handled the replacement and returns graciously and promptly, entirely at their expense -- no complaints about that!
