Customer Rating: Summary: Rip Off Comment: This product, manufactured by Blairex as "Equate", was previously sold at Wal-Mart for approximately $2.50. Now at $8.95 here ... you are obviously getting RIPPED OFF.
Customer Rating: Summary: Essential for people with arthritis Comment: I have rheumatoid arthritis, so squeezing the bottles of saline currently available in stores is very painful for me. I wish stores would take this into consideration and stock the cans, but in the meantime, I'm very glad that I can order them on line. Also, the store salines have preservatives that make lenses uncomfortable. This product does not do that. Please do not discontinue this wonderful product!
Customer Rating: Summary: This stuff is great Comment: This has no preservatives or chemicals ... just saline with a PH buffer.
I'm very paranoid about my eyes (I've been wearing extended wear contacts for more than 20 years), and want nothing extra in them.
It's been impossible to find the B&O and Lens Plus versions of this in my local stores for quite a while. But you can order it directly from Blairex ($3 per 12 fl-oz cans, min 6, +$5 shipping).
I only use very small quantities to just rinse my contacts, so the normal bottles expire (due to contamination risk) 2 months after opening. Since this is a pressurized can, you don't have to worry about that... one can lasts about 6 months for me.
