Editorial Reviews:

One wireless receiver for two great accessories: a wireless mini optical mouse and wireless keypad. The first combination of its kind in the marketplace, this set is perfect for financial applications and general use, especially when traveling. On/off switch on both the keypad and the mouse saves power.

Customer Rating: Summary: good bargain Comment: Unit is of good quality, and performs well. The wireless range is a little short. Mouse is not standard size, it's small but this makes it easier to pack around. 10-key is of average size, but a little small if you want to do true 10-key by touch. Comes with a nifty little cary bag to keep it all organized.
Customer Rating: Summary: Do not buy this product! Comment: Do not buy this product. For the high price you pay, you get a terrible product. The range is ridiculously horrible--you have to be within a foot and in direct site of the receiver. The keypad starts to cut in and out and I have to resort to inputting numbers on my laptop directly. I'm putting this back into the box and I hope that the store will let me return it.
Customer Rating: Summary: Bad Mouse Comment: The mouse is almost unusable. You have to push in almost the center of the clicker for it to respond, then it takes a jam instead of a touch, which moves the pointer away from the original target. If it weren't so much trouble I would send it back.
Customer Rating: Summary: Works well for what it is. Comment: I had no problem with using the mouse or the keypad. My only complaint is that when the battery is wearing down, the connection has to be reset (press the button on the usb receiver and then on the keypad) if it goes unused for a while. The mouse is a little small, but for travel it works fine. It was very helpful to have the external num pad when I was using my laptop all the time!
Customer Rating: Summary: Don't count on it Comment: First of all, the user guide warns that the mouse "may" interfere with other wireless devices, and other wireless devices "may" (they will) interfere with it. In troubleshooting, the user guide advises the if the mouse or keypad are intermittent (they are) or stop working (they do), increase the distance between the receiver and base unit (about 3 feet works) and turn off any wireless devices- like your wireless modem, router, telephone, cellphone, bluetooth, basically everything you need to use the laptop in the first place.
OK, now it works. For 2 minutes. Now when it stops working, the user guide suggests resetting the "identification code", which means that you press a button on the receiver, then on the mouse, again on the receiver, then on the keypad.
OK, now it works. For 2 minutes. Repeat all of the above.
And so on for several hours.
Return to store. Get a refund.
Problem solved!
