Customer Rating: Summary: Pretty Good! Comment: I started these vitamins a little less than 4 months ago,I'll need to order a new bottle after next week. After 15 days I noticed my nails were growing A LOT faster. They are a bit stronger but nothing to be amazed about. If a nail breaks it grows back in a few days. About a month and a half in I noticed that my eyelashes had grown longer, they haven't gotten any thicker though. I have not noticed any change in my skin, but to be honest I haven't really been paying attention to that aspect. The main reason I ordered these vitamins was for the benefits to the hair. I have super thick, course African-American relaxed hair. I don't think these vitamins have made my hair grow that much faster, maybe a little but nothing drastic. The best thing about my hair is that the new growth that comes in is stronger and much more manageable than before. I also have far less breakage which helps retain length.
I gave it 4 out of 5 stars because I was expecting much greater hair growth but I will definatley keep taking these vitamins. Hopefully the benefits will continue to compound over more time. Invest in these vitamins but remember all good things take some time. Customer Rating: Summary: seem to be great! Comment: I started taking these supplements three weeks ago to try to strengthen my weak, fine, thin hair. So far I haven't seen much change on my head, with the exception of a bunch of new baby hairs around my hair line in the front. The package says it takes about four months to see full results, so I have hope that the hair growth will continue!
The supplements have also made my eyelashes look amazing...they started filling in more than they ever have before and I don't even wear mascara, they look so good! My nails have also started growing quickly and they're getting pretty strong. All in all, I'd say these supplements do all they claim (even though I'm still waiting to see full results on my hair!). My hair has grown an inch in the month I have been using them, which is twice the normal amount it usually grows. If you're looking to speed up the hair growing process, these are it. I started taking vitamin supplements for my hair about 6 weeks ago (started with Biotin 2500 and Ultra Nourish Hair by GNC.) Those products worked well but I included this because of all the great reviews. My hair is growing substantially but I don't know if it's the biotin, the Phyto or the Ultra Nourish Hair or the combination. I am very pleased with my results and would recommend this produt with the others if you want fast growing hair (about 1 1/2 to 2 inches per month). On a side note, the other products are less expensive so I might discontinue the use of the Phyto just to see if it makes a real difference and save money. I had loss in the front and on the sides and was skeptical about it coming back. Seeing shiny spots on my scalp was very disturbing.
I started the vitamins almost 2 months ago, and very soon afterwards, I noticed more eyebrow hair and faster hair growth under my arms--not exactly what I was looking for, but I kept taking the vitamins. I also added twice a week elixir treatments to open up my hair follicles, and now I see new growth on my head, and the hair I already had is thicker. The shiny spots are almost gone, and I also have very, very little hair loss with combing/brushing.
As for my nails, they might be stronger, but I don't think they're growing any faster.
I should add that I've also started taking a multi-vitamin and I've been eating better, which I'm sure has been a help as well. I will continue taking these...I believe they are working.
