Comment: I have used this brush for probably longer than I should and way more than 3 months, maybe even more than a year and never had the shedding problem that others report. I love it and yes I am tight so I hate to pay $28 but it is the only brush that I have bought that I WILL faithfully buy again so that I have a quality brush to put on my quality makeup.
I love bare escentuals mineral makeup and their kabuki! It is time to buy another. I also use their brush shampoo and it does very well!

Comment: I got this brush in a Bare Escentuals kit with makeup and other brushes, so I ultimately saved money on this product alone. It was an alright brush, it did it's job. However, I can't imagine paying $28, almost $30, for a makeup brush. It's just too overpriced!! Not to mention, the bristles occasionally fall out. It's not a bad brush, but still not worth the retail price.

Comment: CHICK PICK! Worth the money and do not be fooled by knock offs. This will hold the mineral product and smooth out a large surface areas, like upper chest, back, and shoulders. We like it to smooth out areas more that we liked it to add glittery shimmer.

Comment: I love Bare Escentual products, but this is the only one i regret buying. It sheds, and not just a little, this little sucker leaves hair all over the place and has on more than one occasion left me in tears because it got into my eye. I have tried plucking the darn thing, shaking the life out of it, but it still does it, so I stopped using it. I am not sure if mine was defective or not, but I wont spend another 25 bucks to see if thats the case!

Summary: Not worth the money
Comment: As much as I love Bare Escentuals, this brush is a HUGE disappointment. The handle part is way to small to get a controlling grip on if you've got arthritis, dexterity problems or even longer than average nails. It sheds like crazy, either whole long hairs or broken off ones...and it's nowhere near as soft as it is described. For the money, and the rate at which it has to be replaced, get a higher end "cheapo" brush at your local Whatever-Mart and you won't feel so bad when it comes time to pitch it.
