Track Meet Organizer sets up the heat and lane assignments for your track events and flights as necessary for the field events and is suitable for either high school or college. Program maximums are up to 50 events, 100 schools, 100 athletes/school, and 100 entrants/event (or 10 relay teams per school per event). Individual pre-meet efforts are easy to update to include new and better performances. This program supports from 4 through 10 lane tracks, either sex, and metric or yardage races. There are lots of choices for the lane and heat organization of the events. There may be preliminary heats to qualify for finals or sections as finals versus time comparison with the best times in the same section. Any choice of lane assignments is possible in preliminary races (including random). In finals versus time, you have the choice of best race first or worst race first. A heat and lane switching routine guarantees no duplicate swimmers from the same team in the same heat (if possible). Print out choices are (1) program style which simply lists the heat and lane assignments and (2) the judges' style which has blanks following each athlete's name for recording time of race and finishing position and may be used at the finish line or to run the various field events.

Summary: Excellent piece of software
Comment: I have used the Park Enterprises "Track Meet Orgainizer" on several ocassions and have found it to be a wonderful aid in setting up a track meet. Input is easy. In fact it is possible to have your guests email their entries to you which can then be merged into the file without addition typing on your part. This feature works great. A race or field event can be set up in just about any way you want it as there is a variety of choices for each event. Prelimes or finals vs time comparison. Choice of preferred lane assignments. Fastest heat first or last. Lots of choices. The tech support was excellent as well as we had a question on the emailing of entries thing and it was answered immediately by a qualified individual. All in all, you can't beat this program for the price.
