Summary: SAM-E lingering side effects even after stopping
Comment: I took 100 mg (half of a 200 mg pill) of SAM-E six days ago, only once, and then discontinued it. Now six days later, I am still having dry mouth, disturbed sleep, and nightmares.
The brand I used was Nature Made.
Does anyone know how long these lingering side effects will last, after taking SAM-E only once?
I would advise anyone to be very careful with SAM-E, and beware of lingering side effects even after stopping it.
Any help would be appreciated.

Summary: Great Results!
Comment: The first weekend I took these I had wayyyyy too much energy (but I got a lot done!). After my system got used to it, the only side effect was an improved mood. Exactly what I was looking for! No adverse affects and two tabs a day does the trick. Much better than a prescription drug. I'm very pleased to have come across a natural boost!
P.S. I take these in addition to fish oil, glucosamine and Deplin (high-dose folic acid). I recommend talking to a doctor before going off any drugs to a natural remedy.

Comment: After I had my son, I didn't have the energy I needed to chase him and his brother around. When I discussed this with my doctor, he suggested the Sam-E. I am amazed how well it works! I feel clear headed again and have regained the energy I felt I had lost! This product is also the best priced I had found when researching cost!
