Comment: I am not really sure about this product. The curl just does not stay. I do use a flat iron, so my hair is smooth, then put the rollers in. It doesn't stay as smooth with the rollers, possibly due to the steam, but I know it is better for my hair than dry heat. Maybe I need to try it without using the flat iron first. It sure heats up fast though and is very easy to use.

Comment: The Caruso system really does work. We used it backstage for our performances, and it was super fast and held well. The only downfall I would say it has: it gives that "wrinkle" where the edge of the cover meets the hair. But you can blow-dry that out.

Summary: Curl Didn't Hold
Comment: I was excitied to receive the Caruso Molecular Steam Hairsetter with Rollers in the mail. My hairdresser recommended it, and the Amazon reviews were positive. I was disappointed, however. Even though I ordered extra rollers, I still did not have enough for all of my hair. Because I ran out of the mediums, I substituted with small and large rollers, and the hairstyle, when completed, looked nice. But the curl did not hold. Within a few hours, I lost the curl. I thought this product would work because my hair has some natural body and is neither too thick nor too thin. I have soft water in my house as well, which should be helpful. I've tried this product a few times now, thinking that perhaps I need more practice, but I still cannot get the curl to stay. When I spoke to my hairdresser he commented that perhaps my hair is too thick to hold the curls. So my suggestion to anyone considering purchasing this product is to reconsider it if your hair is slightly thick. It won't hold the curl.

Comment: I've read so mant great reviews about this product so I finally decided to buy it. PS, I'm definitely going to read the 1 stars before the 5 stars because the 5 stars were definitely inaccurate. I tried using mine once and it crapped out. Would not steam up and even when it did the one and only time it worked, it was not effective at all. HORRIBLE PRODUCT! Don't waste your money! If I could reate it, it would be in the negative numbers...

Summary: Best Hair Tool in the World!!!!
Comment: I bought this after reading all (well mostly) positive reviews. I always loved the way my hair looked when it was curled, but if I used a curling iron or hot rollers, my hair would uncurl in a few minutes. This is the only product I can use to curl my hair. There are a few tricks and tips I would tell people.
1. Make sure your hair is completely dry before you roll them.
2. Don't leave the curler on the steaming unit too long.
3. Steam the sheild before putting it in place
4. After you wait the 10 minutes for the curl to set, take the time and blow dry the curls on the cool heat setting. This sets the curl and can make it last for days longer.
5. If possible, use distilled water.
6. If you have read any other reviews, I'm sure you've heard about the unit dying after a few months. Actucally, the machine just needs to be cleaned!!!! Minerals in tap water build up and cause blockages on the inside, all you have to do is mix 1 tablespoon of vinger and full with water to the line. Plug in the steamer and wait 5-10 minutes, you should start to see steam. Let this run til it is not getting anymore water and your steamer with be just like new.
This is absolutely the best curling product out there!
