Summary: Still my favorite curlers
Comment: I bought these because I left the last one I had plugged in one morning. Luckily, I didn't burn the house down. But every time I tried to plug the old one in, the circuit would go out. So here's to the 6th or 7th (I've lost count) caruso I've owned.

Summary: Works Great Breaks Easy
Comment: First let me say I love the curler set. I have used this system for 15 years and will use nothing else. I have very fine hair but tons of it and it is one of the only things that will curl my hair. It's fast and easy. Takes about 5 minutes to curl my long hair. I leave it in while I finish getting ready. Take them out right before I leave the house and my hair looks great.
Here is my complaint. I had my first unit for about 6 or 7 years with no problems. The last 2 years I've gone through 4 of these things. What the heck is up with the quality. One burned out (in about 3 months), the second the prong that holds the curler broke off (after 1 month), the third I plugged in and it popped and then smelled like burning wires (after 2 months). I am on my fourth. If this one breaks down in a month I think I will write the company. It's getting annoying.
Get the cheap one, they are all the same. Some charge 8.00 some charge 30.00. I'm not sure why. I've been buying the expensive ones but this time I bought the 8.00 one. We will see if it makes a difference.

Comment: Don't leave home without it! I've been using Caruso steam rollers for years and love them because they are so quick and so gentle on your hair. I actually use the jumbo rollers to straighten my hair, not curl it! This travel size is great for your suitcase, but just fine for everyday use as well. No salt needed with this model.

Summary: Makes even fine, stright hair curly
Comment: This is the only set of curlers which will make a lasting curl in my fine, straight hair. Have used other kinds with no success. A set lasts 2 years or so. Lightweight for travel.
