Comment: Excellent story it was gripping and full of excitement. The story was not biased and it was presented fairly for both sides. I felt that Books 1 and II was marvelous Book III somehow diverted from the original themes. But it was still a good story although I would have preferred Orry and Constance characters stay in the story.

Comment: EXCELLENT miniseries! Historically accurate, contains something for everyone. Romance, war, politics. Very complete, sometimes graphic illustration of one of the more troubled times in our history. I would most definitely encourage one to purchase this!

Comment: I bought this set of DVD's because when the mini series of North and South was out origanally on TV I watched it all the time. Every year it was on. I loved the movie and wanted to be able to watch it when ever I wanted to. It's a great movie and I have watched it I think twice since I have received it.
