Striker features a plastic grip; comfortable rubber triangle holder is less likely to slip off the triangle than other brands' string holders. Varying effects may be obtained by striking the triangle at various places: near the top at the closed angle, on the closed side, on the open sides, and the tremolo made by quick back and forth motion at the top closed angle. As with so many of the instruments, care must be taken to strike lightly and draw the sound out - don't drive it in.

Customer Rating: Summary: Great addition to any instrument ensamble Comment: My daughter got this for Christmas from Santa. She uses it in her little band. The only problem is that the string always falls off. Customer Rating: Summary: Great for the price Comment: My daughter got this from her wishlist on her 4th birthday. She loves it. I also started teaching her to use it when she needs to call instead of shouting. She has been playing real nice melodies on it. Customer Rating: Summary: The Gold Standard for Steel Triangles! Comment: This is a resonant, yet focused, triangle.
Head's up: Don't make the same mistake I did by ordering it for a son before he puts in the years of practice necessary to play it well.
