This is the second of these replacements I have purchased, and I'm back to being clean shaven again. It seems to be about an every 18 month or so ritual, but so pleasing once replaced. Customer Rating: Summary: Worth changing Comment: It lasted almost 24 months on my shaver. Maybe those who say this foil is fragile are a bit rough on their shavers? This is a precision instrument and it has to be handled appropriately. I am very satisfied with mine and believe this is the best shaving system in the world. Customer Rating: Summary: Does what it is supposed to do Comment: This product restores the shaver to like-new quality. It does what it is supposed to do. My husband has had this shaver for several years now, replaces the foil and cutterblock about once a year, and it keeps working just fine. The downside is that one of the reasons he replaces it once a year is that the foil has a tendency to break after about that amount of time. Thin foil = close shave, so it's a wash as to whether this is a positive or negative situation. Customer Rating: Summary: Over shipped four items Comment: I ordered Braun 8000 series Shaver and Cutter Block and I recieved 3 (two too many Braun) and two Remington Cutter Blocks, i.e. 4 too many I need to return the excess received. They are in their original sealed package Also, my Clean&Renew(tm)8000 Series has gone bad and needs to be replaced. Can we work an exchange? Can you take care of this?
