Spotlight customer reviews: Customer Rating: Summary: Watch Out for Those Black Lagoon Creatures! Comment: These movies can be very fun. I enjoy them, especially the first one. Mainly a creature is captured by man, abused and then tries to run off with the beautiful girl before being killed. Then in sequels, the story repeats itself again with another cast and girl. The pictures look great and it is really nice. I read from one reviewer that these pictures weren't done in the red and blue 3-D but in a polaroid style. I've seen the red and blue and didn't know it wasn't the original 3-D. I'd love to see the real one someday. Customer Rating: Summary: I never found this very entertaining. Comment: By the early 1950's, Universal was in the business of making true creature B-Movies with these three movies offered in this boxed set as real low budget creature features. The Creature of the Black Lagoon suit is just as you see it. A man wearing a poorly made suit and it was shot in 3D. Too bad some A-list actors were cast in these drek films. They say that these movies influence movies today, which ones? Those that go straight to home video?!
