Customer Rating: Summary: A good lamp, I wish it was a different color Comment: It is hard to find 300 watt halogen lamps - I suppose it has to do with fire hazards and insurance. We were happy to find this lamp and are satisfied with it. We would have preferred a black lamp, but this was all we could find. Customer Rating: Summary: Safest Halogen I've found Comment: Excellent light. This halogen floor lamp has an auto turn-off when it's tipped more than 8 degrees. Very good feature for fire safety since halogen lighting gets hot. Also has normal safety grill on top of light. Very good quality lamp.
