Comment: I purchased this gadget because opening envelopes after losing my arm was a chore. It appears to be intended to be held in one hand while holding the envelope with the other, but it works just fine while left sitting on the table top. Very easy to use. Would be a great gift for someone with arthritis or similar impaired dexterity.
