Summary: Best self tanner by far!
Comment: This stuff is the greatest. Ive used it b4 weddings, vacations, etc. If you want a light tan just apply it once, if you want a deep, dark "i just got back from hawaii" tan, apply it once a day for a few days before bed. As long as its all soaked in, it wont rub off on your sheets, i have light pink sheets and ive never had a problem! Its totally streak free and i have applied it in a hurry with my fingers crossed and it has always came out great. I have also used it on my face and it made me tan with out making my face oily or break out and i have sensitive skin. Worth the $30, you will waste more buying a bunch of products that wont work as well! O and the tan removal cream/exfoliater stuff this brand also has is wonderful, it is the only thing that will get the stains off my hands near my nails and around my ring i always forget to take off, that is worth getting as well!!!

Comment: I agree with the other reviewer in that I have also tried numerous self-tanners in the quest for the most realistic, natural looking tan. This is the BEST one I've tried and I don't feel like I need to keep searching any longer. The color is great and not anywhere near orange. A couple of tips... remember to shake the bottle (foam or lotion) before you apply, (this will help avoid streaking) exfoliate, moisturize dry areas in particular such as feet and elbows, apply sparingly or not at all to the dry areas and massage in. Take a darker colored dry hand towel and wipe over the inside of your elbows and outer elbows, around armpits, wrists, knees and ankles. Wash your hands immediately in soap and water and also I recommend, 'Blue Cross' cuticle remover. This is a very inexpensive cuticle remover that is PERFECT for removing self tanner from your hands and nails. Use a nail brush if you need too, but wash immediately after applying self-tanner. This product does not have any offensive odor that some do either. Best to apply at night. When you shower in the am, it is the instant color you applied that is going down the drain, not the self-tanner that will be left on you. I am fair to med. skinned and usually apply 1-2 times per week. Have fun!

Comment: I really have to say this is the best self tanner i've ever used. I've gone through so many different self tanners, expensive ones, cheaps ones, lotions, air brush sprays, i've even had airbrush tan done at 2 different places, and this product is better than all of them. People are going all crazy for the new "tan in a can" airbrush sprays, and being someone who uses self tanners frequently, I have to say that the airbrush sprays suck! They are so messy, they get all over the bathroom, they're not that easy to blend, and they take longer to get everything even. But back to my point, if you're looking for a really nice dark tan, thats really quick to apply and is impossible to wind up streaky in the morning, then st tropez is the best. The instant color guide that it has makes it really impossible for you to mess up... thats why I like it so much. And when you wash it off in the morning, you still have alot alot of the color, so you dont have to keep re-applying it. Trust me, buy this product and see... you'll be here just like me writting a review.

Summary: Deep, Dark and Even
Comment: I usually only use self-tanners with SPF when I go in the sun as I find this gives you a more golden natural looking tan. Someone gave me St. Tropez Auto Bronzant in the set that they make with exfoliator and moisturizer. I tried it and was very surpised with the results. This managed to impart a darker than usual but streak free and natural looking tan. I was very impressed with how dark a tan you could get without looking artificial. If you want a lighter tan you can combine it with its moisturizer. And it's very important to scrub the skin with an exfoliator first for a smooth, even tan. And as other self-tanners usually wash off in a day this lasted a bit. It's particuliarly good on the legs since with a little color cellulite and veins don't show up as much. I've tried a few self-tanners, including Clarins, which is very good but for making you look like you were on a little vacation St Tropez is great.
