Summary: ok for the price
Comment: I have been using electric shavers for over 50 years. This is my first Braun. A lot depends on 3 things, facial shape, type of whiskers(fuzz, course etc)and skin type. This shaver is ok for the price. It took me at least twice as long to get a shave that was ALMOST equal to my Norelco. Like I said, it depends on the 3 things above. May return it or let my son try it and see.

Summary: Smooth but can't tackle a tough beard
Comment: The shave unit is certainly smooth, but it can't tackle a tough beard. I still need to finish with a razor. The trimmer unit is junk at best. For the price this product is no better than a cheap Braun Shaver.

Summary: Works like a razor should
Comment: This razor works great for the price I paid. I heard many people go through razors within a few years and since I've only recently purchased this, I'm not sure how long the life of it is. But I think it was worth it to not get the cleaning system when I can just brush off the hair and wash it in the sink when necessary.
It was quite a bit cheaper than the other models but still had most of the same features. It took a week or two to have my face get used to it however, but keeps a very long charge and has a close shave.
I went from a straight edge razor to this and I'm happy about the time it saves.

Comment: Seems to be a good razor. Easy to handle, clean shave, easy to pack for a trip. Charge does not last as long as I would like but everything else is great for the price I paid.

Summary: Why did I wait so long!
Comment: I have used Remington foil shavers for several years and always thought they were pretty decent. Boy was I wrong. When my last Remington (4700) crapped out I was pretty disappointed so I thought I would try something different. I decided to look at Braun due to their past reputation.
I have either a beard or Goatee year round so I couldn't see spending the money of the self clean/self lube models so I searched for a couple of weeks for good price and features and finally purchased the series 3 370.
It was like night and day! With the Remington, I was always grabbing a blade to get the whiskers on the lower part of my neck. The Remington never did a good job. As long as I shave at least every other day the Braun handles anything that my face can throw at it. Not to mention it runs quieter and the battery lasts longer than the Remington. I don't know why I waited so long. I am a Braun Convert.
