Well, let me add that I own 3 of these (so I wouldn't have to change to combs all the time). I also have another two dozen or so other trimmers/clippers. They tend to accumulate as one gets older. There is no question that this is far better than any other Braun/Panasonic/Wahl/Norelco/etc. trimmer/clipper I have.
I also bet that it's better than any trimmer/clipper my younger daughter has although I haven't seen or compared them. She is a professional hair stylist and she was impressed by the ER153A when I showed it to her.

Nice light and very sleek.Removing the guards can be tricky but just push away from the clipper in the right spot and it is a breeze. When cutting thick hair you need to do it slowly or it would get stuck.I am a hair stylist and I own a lot of clippers and this one is awesome, easy to handle.Fabulous product at an affordable price. It's small, light and comfortable to manage in either hand. It's quick, quiet and easy to care for. I would buy it again and recommend it for anyone doing their own close cuts.
