I just received mine in the mail yesterday and I have already thrown it away. First, the pillow was dirty. I ordered the celadon pillow and when I opened it there were all these dark gray splotches on the top of the pillow. I took the removable cover off and realized the discoloration was caused by the filling. The lining between the pillow cover and the filling is a really flimsy white fabric, which led to the discoloration. I decided that I would wash the cover when I got a chance, so I put the pillow and the cover back in the box with the other stuff I ordered. When I went back through the box a few hours later, the gritty stuff, whatever it is, that makes up the filling got all over everything in the box. I brushed it all off with my hands, which was a mistake. I don't know what that filling is made of, but it felt like fiberglass. I would pick something else up and there would be little stings on my hands from the filling I touched. Even after scrubbing my hands, some of the filling remained. Additionally, the combination of the scent satchel in the pillow pocket and the gritty filling caused a sneezing attack. Customer Rating: Summary: Great travel pillow Comment: Just what I was looking for. This pillow has a buckwheat-like filling (it sounds and feels like). The fragance packet- I was skeptical of. I hate synthetic fragrances, but I believe this is a natural scent with herbs. It's really nice and it is removable. It's just a satchel slipped into a little pocket. What's good about the filling is that you can kind of move it around to get it where you need it to be comfortable. Great product, great price, free shipping. I definitely would recommend buying this product! Customer Rating: Summary: good value, a little firm Comment: I'd actually give this a 3.5 star if I could. The pillow itself was a good size and good value. It's filled with buckwheat husks I believe so it is a pretty firm pillow. I actually like firm pillows, but I would've preferred that it were a tad softer. Nevertheless, it worked well. It was a nice size.
I wish it had a small snap button loop on one end (as is found on another travel pillow I have) so that I could attach it to my carry-on bag. Sometimes, the carry-on is just too full to stuff a pillow in and carrying by hand always leaves the chance of you leaving it behind. I found the little scent packet a little gimmicky. Customer Rating: Summary: This Travel Pillow fits the Bill Comment: I already had one of these pillows, and I like using it so much that I decided to get a couple more while they're still available. The inner contents allow for one to adjust the thickness to fit your individual comfort, by 'squeezing' the little beads to 'pop' them down flat. Other brands of these pillows are much too thick to be comfortable around my neck, and they do not allow for any kind of thickness 'adjustment'. I also appreciate the included removable cover, allowing for occasional laundering.
