Spotlight customer reviews:
Customer Rating: Summary: Great looking, no-iron Dockers Comment: I have been waiting all my adult to find pants that come out of the dryer looking great. These Dockers have cut our cleaning bill by 80%. Customer Rating: Summary: lint magnets Comment: Good
-They cut a dang nice form, look real nice.
-Real comfortable for guys who're in denial about their real waist size.
-Toss em in the drier with a load of clothes, none of the other clothes will come out with any lint or pet hair on them.
Bad
-When the clothes come out of the drier, all the lint and pet hair is on the dockers iron-free pants.
-They really do cost a lot.
If you own a pet, you've got two sensible choices. Either don't get these, or get a pair that matches the color of your pet's fur. My pants come out embarrassingly hairy and i can't let it rest until i go at it with some tape to get some of it off. Do your pants make you consider directly vacuuming your cat? Customer Rating: Summary: I love these pants, but kinda pricey Comment: I'm fortunate enough to be in a position to not have to worry too much about the price on staples like books, food & pants. But wow... I paid $70 for these casual khaki pants. That's about twice the goin' rate. I told myself that it would be worth it if they lasted 2 years - b/c my average pair of khakis lasts only half as long, one year (and costs, interestingly enough, one half the price of this pair). So, one year later I can tell you that these pants are sharp, tight & do NOT FADE. But, they don't seem more resistant to wear & tear; and, are already showing signs. Not sure that they'll make it the two full years. If they don't, then I'd love to own another pair... but I'd only be willing to pay $50 the next time around. (and btw... there's no such thing as "never iron" unless your couch is within two feet of your dryer. You'll need to run a warm iron over the pants before you put them on. After that, they stay wrinkle free for several days - and several wearings, if you like). Customer Rating: Summary: Among Dockers' best pants. Comment: These Dockers pants are probably the best they have ever made--even better is that they require virtually no ironing after coming out of the dryer. This is the closest casual pants' get to dress slacks and their overall tailoring and build are superb. The $70.00 retail price is , however, quite high (which explains my not giving them a 5-star rating) especially when considering that some of Dockers' khakis and dress/casual pants priced at under $50.00 offer most of the same features.
