Customer Rating: Summary: No true color sample Comment: After reading several other reviews telling to stick with natural colors, I bought the "Pale". It looks white on me. It was not as creamy or moist as I was led to believe. On the bright side, it is a good lip liner and lipstick all in one; if you find a good color for yourself. The color did stay on for several hours. Customer Rating: Summary: Not Pleased at all.. Comment: First of the product was delivered late.. When I opened the package one of the 3 lipsticks broke and was all over the other two.. I called and they rep gave me a form to fill out about the damaged one and faxed it back.. I then was suppose to receive a RNA number which was coming in the mail so I could return all products.. They wanted to charge me a 15% restocking fee.. A week later I called and told them I did not receive the package and number to send back the product.. The sales rep said it just went out yesterday and she was not very professional.. Telling me that they were short handed.. etc.. I wrote an email and finally someone told me that I would not receive a 15% restocking fee etc.. The product went back the day after I received the RNA number and I have not heard from them since.. I sure hope my card was credited.. To me this is no way to do business. It is a lack of communication and customer service.. So needless to say I had a terrible experience.. Customer Rating: Summary: Great Product Comment: Goes on smooth and has good staying power. I like having a pencil and lipstick in one product. I always have too many products. This helps me keep it simple. I purchased Blush which was actually a little darker than expected, but still a nice shade. The purchase page should show sample colors, and it doesn't. I will definitely purchase more colors. I prefer a matte finish - that's becoming harder to find these days with the trend towards super-high-gloss-shine lipsticks & glosses. I decided to try this one since it had such great reviews. I ordered it in "Toasty". I received it today!
It's FANTASTIC! Since it's in a pencil shape (albeit a bit thicker than my normal lip liner), I was able to line my lips first, then fill in and blend for the perfect matte lipstick. No goo or gloppiness here, girls! And it lasts! I've been wearing it for hours already and it has not faded. Stayed on when I drank water! It wears well without all the feathering and over-dryness of a long-wearing lipstick. I'm sold on this stuff and will be ordering more in different shades. I have used this for years now and there are none that come clost to Lord and Berry.. the only problem I have is trying to get the color which is BRown Violet lipliner.. so if anyone out there knows where I can get this I would really appreciate it..
