I paid $125 for this, used this for 3 weeks and ended up returning it under their 30 day moneyback guarantee - I replaced it with a Braun PocketGo 370 for $20, which works brilliantly.
If you want a cool shaver to use in the shower or for touch-ups, then this is for you - just remember the cost yearly for swapping the cutting heads & cleaning cartridges.
If you want a good dry shaver then forget it and go buy a couple of $20 Braun PocketGo shavers that work far better than this thing.

Summary: It's okay, but nothing is as close as a blade.
Comment: I've had nothing other than Norelco razers, but decided to try a different approach. This razer was highly rated so I decided to take the plunge. Is it really better than my Norelco? I really can't tell, but regardless of which razer I use, I've got to touch up with a blade.
The bottom line is -- don't expect a real clean shave unless you've got a baby-face beard.

Comment: I would totally Recommend this product, its the best item for it's price. Almost lives up to the Braun. The trimmer is mediocre but you get an amazing shave and you never need to trim really because youll love shaving so much youll want to shave everyday! (Unless you have a perminent beard, goatie, etc..)

Comment: I purchased this shaver to replace a Remington, and is my first wet/dry shaver. In the past I've also owned Braun and Norelco, and have found that foil shavers do a better job. Initial impressions are that this is the best that I've owned.
Pros:
- The Wet/dry feature (which I've yet to try) provides the opportunity to use shaving lather, as well as the ability to clean the shaver without using the Hydraclean system (I do use the system).
- Hydraclean solutions are easier to use and appear to cost significantly less than solutions for Braun and Remington (purchased a 3-pack for under $7 and should last at least three months).
- The popup clipper is easy to clean. As a comparison, the Remington clipper is configured as a slide and when hair or other residue get caught in the glides, it continually slides forward when shaving. Very annoying!
- The power cord powering the cleaning base can be disconnected and connected directly to the shaver. This is a very handy feature and is common with all shavers at this price point.
- The cleaning is much less noisy than the both the Braun and Remington.
- Cleaning features include cleaning only, charging only, cleaning and dry, and cleaning, drying, and charging.
- It looks sharp. Having a quality product that looks nice is a double benefit.
Cons:
- The cleaning base has a medium footprint, but no larger than that of the Braun and Remington cleaning bases.
People have complained about shaver cuts. I honestly have not experienced that with this shaver as of yet. It is true that it takes time for skin to adjust to any electric shaver, but not 30 days as noted in the documentation. My experience has been 1-2 weeks to adjust. To continue, when excessive pressure is applied to the skin, the pressure can cause pulling of the skin, and lead to razor cuts (this has happened to me with other shavers). The transition from my previous to this shaver has been seemless. I am quite satisfied.
I purchased at Best Buy at a close out price of $71, rather than $100+. With all of the features, I can give it nothing less than five stars.
