It has a fairly sheer finish with lovely little sparkles in it. I have Berrylicious(sheer grape) and Cherry Quartz(sheer, true red--doesn't look like it does on the color swatch) and neither overwhelms my pale skin. I wouldn't be caught dead without a Bare Brilliance lipstick in my makeup bag or purse!
