I agree with previous reviewer, 2 gallons is probably max. Good value. Customer Rating: Summary: Leakproof Gas Can Comment: Really is leakproof, and no gasoline smell in my garage. I'm filling my scooter tank out in the street in case of overfill, but it works as advertised and shuts off when the gas level in the tank reaches the nozzle. The translucent red plastic allows me to monitor the level in the gas can. The nozzle does not invert into the can like older styles so no fumes escape in handling. Only negatives are the advertised 2.5 gallons is way full so it's better to shoot for a 2+ gallon fill at the gas station, and when dispensing from the gas can the nozzle requires a fair bit of force to open the valve so make sure the tank you're pouring into is well braced. An excellent value for the money, no other plastic can compares and the metal cans out there with similar capabilities are 5 times as expensive. More Reviews
