The Palm IIIe's 2 MB of RAM stores up to 6,000 addresses, five years of appointments, 1,500 to-do items, 1,500 memos, 200 e-mail messages, and tons of third-party applications, ensuring that you're well-positioned to manage your daily activities for years to come. Even better, you can let go of your paper datebooks, address books, memo pads, and more, saving valuable office space and keeping your recycling bin empty. And just in case the word "digital" still scares you, fret not, as the Palm IIIe easily synchronizes with your PC or Mac so you can back up all your important data at the touch of a button.
You can also use the Palm IIIe handheld with the PalmModem accessory (sold separately) to remotely download and reply to important e-mail messages and exchange data between your organizer and your computer--all with a single phone call. The Palm IIIe handheld's infrared port, meanwhile, allows you to beam your business card, phone lists, memos, and add-on applications to other infrared-enabled devices. Additional features include a sharp, multi-angle display that's legible in dim and bright light, a Palm Desktop organizer software bundle, and a HotSync cradle.

Customer Rating: Summary: Great item for the lower price of 19.99 Comment: This is a cool little palm pilot, the only problem that I've found it when the batteries die... so does your 6000 entries! It flashes low battery for just a moment or 2 before you are dead in the water. I learned that lesson the hard way, then always kept a spare set of rechargables in my purse and switched them asap. If you use it for the alarm reminder setting, you may NOT get to it in time to change batteries and save your info. This happened to me twice, then I started using my phone as a reminder if I needed it and using this just to store info and that helped alot. At 99.99, I would say pass on it... but today the price is 19.99 and it is WELL worth that price!
