Customer Rating: Summary: Patton PX405 is the best fan on the market, no exceptions Comment: The Patton PX405 is the best fan on the market, no exceptions. It is solidly built of metal and durable rubber mounts for a smooth sound. It has three speeds; the lowest barely makes any sound at all, while the high speed blows as hard as you could want in a home. I have used fans since I was a child as a sleep aid. I have owned many fans, several from Patton. Previous Patton fans tended to be `full blast', `full blast plus' and `right speed for full speed'. That is, they lacked a slower speed. The PX405 solved that problem. Fans over time can get `lose', possibly squeaky or rattle. The PX405 solves that by good engineering and not cutting corners. Parts are welded, not just screwed. This will out blow, out last, and be quieter than any fan I know of.
Customer Rating: Summary: Powerful fan Comment: Fan is very powerful , but way to loud . Needs to be used in warehouses only .
Customer Rating: Summary: Garage Fan Running Strong Comment: These fans last forever! I've had one for a couple years now that runs just about everyday for a good while and would recommend it to anyone. They're not the most silent of fans, but they're not extremely loud either.
Customer Rating: Summary: Does the job but noisy Comment: It really does shift some air but mine has an annoying click/click noise as it rotates. You can't really use it and watch tv but then again, I don't think this is really meant for domestic use.
