The Wireless Presenter with Laser Pointer features all of the necessities that other competitive presenters offer. This presenter has the ability to page up, page down, esc slide show, darken screen and resume screen. It also has a laser pointer button and an on/off switch. It also includes an alt tab application switch. The long-range 2.4GHz wireless technology has up to a 30 ft. range, which is ideal for a large conference room. The preset RF connection enables true plug-and-play capability; no driver is required. Stop tripping over wires and asking colleges to change the slides- this presenter is ideal for any PowerPoint presentation.

Customer Rating: Summary: Good one Comment: Good one. I liked it, its working the way i want.
Cons: Needs USB drive attached all the time with the computer during presentation. You may forget to remove it after the presentation.
Customer Rating: Summary: Fantastic! Comment: The Targus Wireless presenter is amazing. It's exactly what I was looking for with a great price. Works great and definitely enhances your presentations!
Customer Rating: Summary: Targus wireless presenter Comment: The old cliché you get what you pay for is true in this case. I ordered one, didn't work (laser pointer), returned to Amazon, got another one and it wouldn't work either (advance nor backup) the slides. Returned it and ordered the Logitech presenter.
Customer Rating: Summary: Very good for the price Comment: I have owned many different pointers. I seem to lose them all. This one, for the money, is probably one of the best I have purchased. The button layout is very similar to many of the other models out there, but to me, the buttons are larger and easier to work. When I am in the middle of a presentation, I don't have to look down at the buttons as they feel different and are large enough for me to distinguish each one.
I like the fact this pointer also has a laser built in. This has been helpful on many occasions, and my previous pointers (more expensive) did not have this useful feature. The laser is bright red, and can be seen in a dimmed room at over 50 feet. Very nice.
This pointer comes with a little black bag to store the two pieces (pointer and receiver). My other pointers had a stick that would fit within the base of the pointer. I like that feature better than the bag given as part of this purches. If you don't seal the bag well, the receiver could be lost and you could end up with a laser pointer as the pointer would not work with any other receiver. They are paired via the serial numbers.
One other caveat: Make sure you flip the switch on the side to the "OFF" position when you are done presenting. I like this feature and am glad this pointer has this function. I can't tell you how many times I would try to use a pointer, only to find out the pointer had been on in my briefcase or bad, draining the battery. That won't happen here if you use the "OFF" button.
Finally, as with most other presentation pointers on the market, if your computer was built after 2001 or so, this unit will work for you. You will need a USB port (either ver. 1 or 2). The computer should automatically configure your computer once the receiver is pushed into the USB slot.
Customer Rating: Summary: Couldn't use it Comment: Somehow I missed the specs if they were there. It did not work on a Mac. I did get a prompt refund.
