Customer Rating: Summary: slender but not easy to insert Comment: Although I was glad to find slender tampons, I was disappointed that the somewhat rounded tip was just the end of the cotton tampon. I purchased these for my pre-teen and teen daughters because of their slim size. I prefer a plastic rounded tip, but I've also been okay with cardboard rounded tips. I feel that the cotton part of the tampon being the first thing to insert creates discomfort which isn't pleasant for first-time tampon users. My daughters wanted the option of wearing tampons to be able to enjoy swimming. I've since purchased Tampax Pearl Regular tampons that, although not as slim as Tampax Slender, are still more slim in size that Kotex Regular and have the comfortable plastic rounded tip. My 13 year old daughter plans to try them on her next cycle.
